Streaming of Video for the Web

Video tends to use a lot of bandwidth because the video files themselves are large. If a video clip of only ten seconds duration were to be simply dropped into a web page, the time taken to load the page and play the video would be totally unacceptable - a full movie would take forever!

There are techniques however that will allow a video to begin playing once the first few frames have been loaded. The remaining frames will load whilst the video plays and the user will be unaware of any delay. We have used this technique on a number of client projects and the results have been outstanding.
